help me out Tb, I want to go busking and I got a battery powered amp but I do solo looping with a boss rc-50, i want to know is there someway to power my looper without a wall jack?

no it doesn't run on batteries, is there some sort of thing that hooks up to a 9v battery then has a cord that could power my looper?

You can get generic external battery packs for devices. I don't actually have any brands to give you, but Google should help you out. You should be able to get something rechargeable. The current draw of your looper will determine how long it will last.

There is also a new Sanyo Eneloop device called 'Pedal Juice'. It's a bit pricey, but it has a nice Li-ION rechargeable battery in it that should provide some decent playing time.

O/T but can I ask what battery-powered amp you're using and what sort of performance you're getting out of it?

If you can solder you could attach a dc jack to a battery clip and run off the battery but as KarateKid25 said there the current draw will determine how long it will last.

ok karate kid i'll look into some sort of external battery pack and moose, I can solder so i'm gonna try your idea first!

Kev, I'm using a roland micro cube, I got for an unbelievable price (110$) and the sound is ok and it has so many features (drum machine,efx,amp emulator, tuner,etc) but if you have an active bass it sounds much better in my experience and 6 AA batteries for 13 hours of play!
