A $1,000 power cable?!

There is a wonderful opportunity here for someone:
Buy the $1000 power cable, throw it into a cage with a mongoose and leave the cable in there long enough for the cable to get thoroughly thrashed looking, then sell the cable for $2500 as a "road worn" cable that has tons of "mojo".

I hope users of these cords are not using standard fuses in the equipment the cords are connected to.

The power company have a bit of metal between them and the user. It's tough, cheapish for what it is, and electrically up to the job. Bits of it might be welded and bolted together. Some idiot maintains that a few inches of precious metal makes something sound better? Yeah right! Snake oil, or perhaps even obtaining goods by deception? There are a few companies in the UK who continually have their adverts pulled by the Advertising Standards Agency. They never seem to learn!
The head of ESP Cords was on a Facebook site asking what was up with the haters. I told him charging over $100 for an AC cable with fantasy claims of higher performance with no peer reviewed scientific proof of it working as claimed was being a "hater." He didn't reply.
Well, sure. It 'filters' and 'phase corrects' the power. Just like those magnets you're supposed to put on your fuel lines for increased power and economy. Perfectly reasonable.
I was visiting a customer today (nuclear power plant) and my contact is an engineer and also an audiophile. I showed him the ASP cable site and he almost choked on his diet coke.
These power cords intensify the charge of each electron on a nuclear level, while realigning their electromagnetic fields, creating more power per volt, resulting in higher output, while also causing any male within twenty feet to maintain an erection for up to four times longer. It's basic science.

There is a Boutique amp builder that pops in from time to time on TB that sells these $$$100 AC cables on his amp site. And claims it make the world of difference and one of his users says " it makes it sound like two basses" whatever that means?? And they say it makes the amp sound 50% to 100% better.
If that anint hype,, I dont know what is.... I say PROVE IT!
My ears test as extremely good in recent months,, I did an A/B/C test and i could not tell the difference.. Maybe my hearing is not as good as the ones that claim these cables are so great..
But i dont see how the last 6ft of wire can fix all the garbage the AC passes through for miles and miles prior to terminating at a .99 wall receptacle

You forgot to mention he also insults people who can't hear a difference between it and the AC cable supplied with most amps. And then when asked for proof that there's a difference, he bolts.
Don't care. I can buy plenty of amps that aren't made by people who insult me publically. Besides, who needs 'em, anyway? I endorse the greatest bass amp company of the past 65 years!
