A 34 inch Scale 5 String Double Bass? Here you go, it's a 5 string Bace.

So this is an interesting 5 string Fretless Acoustic-Electric Bass called 5 String Bace (Bass-Cello). Mark Zandveld came up w/ it, & it's basically a Scaled Down Electrified 5 string Double Bass that can be held like a Guitar. As you can see the neck is from an old Fender 5 String Fretless Electric Bass & the Body is from an old 4/4 Size Cello which is how the Bace got its name. For it to be bowable, the bridge & fingerboard would have to have a radius in it, & if he designs it that way (along w/ frets for easier finger placement & versatility, along w/ a 6 string Version tuned BEADGC) it would make an amazing Travel Double Bass.

Actually it's a really unique Bass w/ a unique sound on its own.
