Too wide for my slotting jig and can't get Ebony wide enough anyway. So bookmatched and joined after slotting.

The F# looks a little on the light side. Typical F# strings I've seen are in the .165" neighbourhood and I would probably want to be in the .145'+ range. The high end looks good. On my eight I have plain strings for the F and A# (.18 and .12 IIRC).
...Drop me a line next time. I just had some 6" wide Mac ebony laying around that I cut up for an acoustic back & side set.
