looks like an industrial design student's final project in school. very clever and elegant imho but i'm not sure it's solving any problems that actually need to be solved. wish them all the success in the world for trying something different.

Initially I thought it is quite expensive, but then i looked up what some others charge for their shortscale basses. Seems in line, I recon.

Angled headstocks are nothing new. Rounded fret ends aren’t new. Moveable pickups are nothing new either. That’s already been done by Rick Turner, Gibson, and I’m sure there’s others as well.

And if there’s body resonance affecting the sound, then the pickup has to be microphonic to some degree. Not something that’s usually considered desirable.

I’ll pass.

I saw a thread about this elsewhere. It looks like someone took a Louisville Slugger bat and cut along the center. Then they wrapped an IKEA plastic chair back around it, called it a day.
