I really had Ken Smith going, he even wrote an essay on why there's no difference in tone between Gambas and Violins. And DRURB was designing an experiment to prove it. DRURB was even talking about cutting off corners of basses. HA HA HA!!!

Exactly! I had to exercise great restraint, it was very tempting to jump in at times. Oh yeah, I remember that cartoon, you were onto me from the very beginning. Ha! Good thing the others didn't pick up on that.

Re-reading the thread I notice Upton has an interchangeable C-bout section in the molds (if I understand this right) so they can do Busettos as well. Not that I would want one, but it's interesting.

I would rather have a Batchelder than a Busetto.
