Yup; recieved the mass email as well (had seen this before stumbling on this thread).
Don't know if it's stolen; there's an awful lot of dust on that headstock. She probably found it somewhere in some dusty storage. Said she needed to get rid of it because she doesn't need this in her new apartment. I think it's possible, although if I were really interested, I'd ask her first how she came across it.
The VERY reasonable price would have to be VERY VERY VERY reasonable in order for this to actually be a good deal...

Impossible... who would EVER be able to find "cooler stickers" than the ones already adorning this "black bass" in it's wonderful fur-lined case?? I mean really... "cooler stickers".. they just don't exist, at least not on this imagination-poor planet of ours.

SO far claims it is a samick. I got the pictures in my email looks like a maple necked P bass of some variety. Trying to get a price out of this email transaction. Will keep you guys posted. Anybody want to start a bidding war ?
Does anyone has a pic to share? Or is this scam even bigger than imagined and we all need to enlist somehow to get a glance on this miracle bass.....

#2 it does have a EMG P PU in it if it still works.
I just sold a Samick ArtistSeries passive p/j, 5Stringer that was total "tonal" junk, but actually was not bad for a 50.00 used item... ( I got 60 bucks on CL for it, just to dump it )
honestly the bass is no more mystery, and someone will offer less than 50, and get a good P-EMG, and perhaps a nice maple neck....

Yeah, I'd grab that thing for the pickups.
I'd arrive to pick the thing (pickup only!) up with a screw driver and a wire cutter, give her her $25 pull those pickups out and toss the axe in her garbage can and walk out.
