Many of you may know about this, but I just discovered it this morning.
As a guy who's "jazz-prone" (but who doesn;t get to play very often) I often (most of the time) can't recall changes to many tunes and while I can feel my way around much of the time... some of the time I wind up in "Bass-Limbo".
At any rate there is an iPhone application called "iReal Book"... yes, a digitzed fake book that covers some 800 tunes, transposes them at the click of an icon, and lets you enter additional tunes of your own as you go along.
It was $9.99 and worth every penny.
You guys might want to give it a look... it's available for other phone-platforms as well !
Merry Christmas.
