a little down

Hey guys,

Just need to share a little sadness :crying:. Yesterday I let go of my J24. It is a real nice bass, but suffered the ill-fated pre-amp blow out. Yes, I mistakenly put the battery in the wrong way. Anyhow, it was fixed free of charge and I decided to let it go in order to get a better cab. I know it's silly to get attached to inanimate objects, but it happens to most of us.

Now the only active I have is a Fender MIA deluxe 2007. I'm sure she'll hold her own :smug: . But in all honesty, it was never a matter of MIA vs Korean made. The J24 looks beautiful, sounds great and has and awsome neck. But realistically was the one I could do the least without.

On a positive note, I will see her new owner practically every day. So she won't be too far from me :)

Thanks for letting me share.

You will be missed

Nice looking axe.

You are right....anything that does not breath is just a thing, and loosing it is not life changing. It's real value is how much money it will bring if sold.

I can't remember all the basses I have owned over the years. But when I look at photos in my computer of recently sold basses, I think "man, I wish I had that back". The truth is, if I had them all back, they would probably just sit in their cases.

Good luck finding the great cabinet you are looking for.
