Was sorely tempted to do the same, but mu instructor would not approved. Base 12 has its benefits.A man after my own heart.
But I get even more numeric and use semitones. So it runs 1 through 12 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,X,Y,Z where X,Y, and Z are named “Dec”, “Del” and “Doh” aa in base12 style) so I don’t need to think about sharps and flats.
Major = 158 Minor 148 and so on.
Calling Python “old school” seems weird now that it’s the primary language of machine learning and AI programming.

I think the point was to program in a language that is acceptable in Guitar Center, phonetically.Mr. Groot, thank you for posting this. So, how do I use this to practice? I am trying to (re)learn basic theory and trying not to sound like a noob. My goal is to get better at improvising in any key under a soloist; will these help? Thanks!![]()
