Sorry for the derail. But can you tell me @Vic Winters how you set the bsw to gated synthy fuzz? I absolutely love mine into another fuzz pedal,( usually my hovercraft ionostrofear) But have yet to find that ever elusive sweet spot

I use Type 4 with all controls set to the minimum.

To list Just one dirt duo, SG Beta standard into SSBS Mini, full low, treble at 10oclock, fuzz & volume at 11, bias at 9:30. Normally this is a mild splatty overdrive but the Beta drives it into something else.
Lately Earthquaker Devises Tentacle into Doctor's Note envelope, low pass. Love the Tentacle, a new buy. Doctor's Note was a pleasant surprise but it's Ashdown's 2nd try at an envelope, and it works.
An always available trio is EH Superego with WH Ringworm and EQD Rainbow Machine in the Superego's loop. Can make industrial sound fountain sonic sculpture. In other words, the captured tone acquires movement.
