a question about a warwick

I was looking at basses on the GC website and came across the Warwick Rockbass Vampyre 5 string.

Anyone know anything about this bass, aside from what's listed?

don't think your getting a warwick. these are there budget models. Very well build and good for the price but none of the good stuff that makes a warwick a warwick. Like brass frets and the wood they use

Rockbass does not equal Warwick. I'm almost offended they gave Rockbasses the "W" logo on the headstock. /snoot

Some of the woods are different, but as long as the Rockbass has a 2-piece bridge then its one of the newer ones (2010) and they are actually very fine instruments considering the price. I haven't jammed out on one of the new ones in person yet, but there are many notable guys here who swear by them. The 1-piece bridge ones are garbage though, dont waste any money on em =p
