A question that I should know the answer to but im not sure...

Sorry if I put this is in the wrong forum but im not sure where to put it. haha. My question is how do you create a good swell sound? I know that you use a volume pedal and I have heard people use delay but do you need any other effects to create a good swell?

delay or reverb helps. volume pedal helps. but you can do it with your volume knob, too.
