I just got off the phone with my mom. She called me to tell me that today about an hour ago one of my dogs, Jawz, passed away. She told me he just started seizuring and was on the floor convulsing and just stopped breathing and that was it. My mom called the vets office but by the time she ran for the phone he had stopped breating and had passed. Jawz was a pitbull/lab mix that i have had since i was 7 and brought him up from a pup. Even tho he was part pitbull, he was a very gentle animal and just an all around awesome companion. I'm going to miss him greatly and this news is rather hard for me to take. If i can find a picture of him i will post it. R.I.P. Jawz.
That's really sad, why do we buy dogs and become so attached to them when we know we will outlive them
Funny, I had a Siamese cat once with the same name, cause he used to yowl all the time ... Hope you're doing better, and hope to meet you on Sat if possible. Take care, Nick.
Sorry to hear that, man. Speaking from experience, it's definitely not easy. Try to remember the good times and why it was worth it. Take it easy.
Its tough to loose someone (yes I consider pets as "someones") that you are close to. Halloween night of last year I lost my Buddy, an 8 yr old black lab mix that I'd had since he was a pup. Animals can often become the best friends we have and loosing them is never easy. Like it was said in an earlier post, remember the good times, and give it time.
That sucks, man. My ex-roommate got a pitbull a few months before I moved out. I was nervous at first, because of all the bad things I'd heard about 'em, but after spending less than an hour with "Damien," it became obvious to me he'd lick someone to death before he'd ever think about biting 'em.
Nick, I'm sorry to hear this. We lost Saber, our youngest Greyhound, in a similar way this past November. It's never easy...
