A section for your posts?

If you find your profile link from members list, you can use 'find all posts by' link
Yes, but this is a bunch of steps to get there. Sure it can be done but is this the slightest bit efficient?! You can't even really "view" your own profile & get to your own posts from the MYTalkbass section, you can only edit your profile or subscribe to threads.

Even if you respond to my comment, chances are I'm not going to see the response right away unless I subscribe to the thread I've already participated in. It just takes too long to find the threads I've posted in. I'm on a few other music forums & this is the only one that doesn't have a link to your own posts. Seems overkill & extra work to have to subscribe to your own threads just to revisit them or check for responses.

I haven't posted anywhere near as much on this forum as others primarily for this reason. It just takes too long to navigate your way back to the conversations you're in each time visiting the site, making it better experience to be a viewer than a participant. So many forums have view your own posts button as standard it almost seems as if the same template were used but removed the feature.

TB does have a feature to track your posts automatically.

When you enter My TalkBass, go to the section Messaging and Notification. Then find Default Thread Subscription Mode

When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.

It will list the default subscription mode: Default Thread Subscription Mode: Do not subscribe

Change the default to one of the other modes:
No email
Instant email
Daily email
Weekly email

I use the Daily email notification to get updates of all posts from all threads I've posted in so I can review them off line at my convenience. I've subscribed to about 4700 threads over the years. I get up to 30 updates per day(more or less).
I also subscribe to various forums so I can see all new posts made daily in each forum.

Once you get this going you can view your subscriptions with the List Subscriptions link, also in My TalkBass under Subscribed Threads. You can then go into any thread and find any post you've ever made. Unfortunately this feature is not retroactive (it won't find previous posted threads and send you updates).
