The divots on the back of the neck suggest that wasn't originally true.At least it looks like the screw were short enough to not come out on the back of the neck!
They're drywall screws, that did go through. They cut them off, and filled the holes with what looks like black epoxy on the back of the neck.At least it looks like the screw were short enough to not come out on the back of the neck!
I’ve seen a few les Paul’s that have screws through the back of the neck with the tips exposed on the front side of the headstock!
