Double Bass A simple question...

Hi,

I just obtained a used SLB200, for silent practicing. It came without the upper bout extension, and I think I need one to make it feel more stable.

Here's my question (which I couldn't find an answer to while searching these threads): Does the BEF2 extension, once attached, fit easily into the gig bag?

[Follow-up, snarky rhetorical question: If one purpose of the SLB is to emulate a 'proper' upright bass, and if the BEF2 fits easily in the case, why didn't they just make the upper bout wider to begin with?!]

Mine does, but it's in a case for a 300, but I assume it is the same overall size.
