The sound of different (relatively simple) chords and progressions are "for advanced players"? It should be one of the first things everyone learn.

I thought it was really great seeing how one could turn a 12 bar blues into something entirely different. I liked the way Fagen did this in a crsftsman like manner, dipping into a luttle theory. Effortless reharmonization.
