A thread for with which to vent.

I'm a huge wimp.

My AC broke yesterday and I live in a poorly insulated double wide. 75° outside soon becomes 85° inside, and it was 85° outside yesterday so it quickly became hell in my house. Wimpy.

I'm on disability and don't expect my deposit until Monday and I only have $15 in the bank. I feel like homelessness is around the corner for me and helplessness is all I feel. I've been selling basses to get by and they are nearly all gone.

For those of you who think SS disability is easy to qualify for, meet my 31 year old autistic/Aspergers riddled son who I've been trying to get SSD for. For the last two years. I should get one of the TV attorneys but they all seem like skeezikses. He'll live with me until I die and who knows after that.

I'm glad things are good for most people, but right now I see everything through suck-colored lenses.

I recently found out one of my new co-workers was convicted of sexually abusing a 7 year old girl. The guy is seriously creey in many ways but this is too much. Had I known about this I would not have taken the job. Sigh. Thanks for the rant space, I feel a little better.

Going for frozen yogurt, my 3 year old goes out of her way to open the big heavy door for a young lady, who clearly sees my daughter, and the girl walks right by without saying anything. To which my daughter says, "why didn't she say thank you?"

Some people are totally oblivious to others around them.

Entitlement+that illusion of feeling older than you are/feeling like you're the elder of anyone younger than you=you're an ***.

Panicking that I've read a giant study guide and aced included practice exams (and purchased the exam vouchers) and yet looking at the "exam objectives" makes me queasy.

Sounds like she is a nice kid. Explain the word rude to her. Do it loud enough for that young lady to hear.

I hate when my wife has that weird attitude, and expects me to guess what's wrong without telling me. My whole night is going to be a disaster.

This! Only it's my husband who does it. I admit this is odd; usually it's women who are passive-aggressive.

In other news, today just sorta sucks in non-specific but unsettling ways.

That is all. For now. I'm sure I'll be back.

Dear downstairs neighbor: please tell your 2 meth-addicted, slut daughters to stop stealing my parking space. There are plenty of places for them to park, but directly in front of my door is not one of them. I find this extremely inconsiderate. Anyone with more than 4 brain cells should realize that a parking space in such proximity to the building is not intended for guests. Speaking of guests, I am allowed to have my nephews visit anytime I choose, and I believe that 2 in the afternoon is an acceptable time for two young boys to play. Yes, you will hear some noise, the same noise I hear nearly every day when you're babysitting your grandson. I realize that I live in an apartment and I will hear my neighbors from time to time, but you, you pound on my door and complain about how the noise is disrupting you and your activities. You know I could make a lot more noise, right? I do have a 700 watt bass guitar amp up here. You've seen my take it out of my apartment many times and have to maneuver it around your daughter's rusted out P.O.S. because it's parked in my spot. And why do you have to stare at me every time I leave and come home? It's kind of creepy, especially since the only times you've ever spoken to me is to complain. Well anyway, I gotta go or I'll be late to work, someone has to work and pay taxes, not everyone can be a fat, lazy slob on welfare, like you.

I'm at a stop light. Some guy comes barreling up behind me. The light turns green as he gets close to my car. The second the light turns, he gets about a foot away from my bumper and starts honking his horn like crazy. Does he really expect me to go from 0 to 45 in 0.4 second? And will the idiots who incessantly honk their horns in traffic jams please stop? The freeway's a parking lot; thousands of cars ahead of you are not going to start moving because you lean on your horn. Put on some good music and chill already!

Also, what's up with those people who make a right turn into your lane, dangerously cutting you off, and then slow down to about 5 mph, then take their sweet time speeding all the way up to 10 mph below the speed limit? Apparently, they weren't really in that big of a hurry, now were they?

That happened to me once about ten years ago, when I was already in a very bad mood. My reaction was to climb off my motorcycle and walk up to the drivers door, whereupon I 'removed' the rearview mirror and handed it to the very surprised looking fellow behind the wheel. Got back on and rode off and never heard a word about it. I don't recommend doing this, btw.

I didn't look, but I'm guessing Chicago
