A Van Halen Bass?

A couple years ago I built an EVH Bass for a buddy of mine. It’s a 32” scale bolt on Strat-shaped bass that features a Locking Nut and a Kahler Trem bridge. The pickups were handmade by Michael Pack of Sonic Pickups out of California. The body is Alder and the neck is a graphite reinforced Maple neck.

Ha!, that's pretty slick. I saw the original Frankenstine (behind glass, of course) at a Guitar exhibit at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts a few years back, you nailed it pretty good, right down to the encrustations of filth and cigarette ash, and the dummy pickup and switch.

The reflectors are an interesting personal style choice.

Could use a suitable one as a cavity cover in a "not a dedicated copy" build, though.

Bit of a change-up from boring black plastic, and plenty of "out there" designs available if you step away from generic trailer lights/reflectors and into car tail-lights.

These are the style that Eddie used on his Frankenstrat so that’s why I chose them on this build. Here is a picture of Eddie’s guitar.

I had no idea Eddie was that safety conscious, with all the reflectors installed on the backside of ole Frank.

He used to tilt the back up towards the audience and let the spotlights flash off the reflectors.

Yeah, I gathered that from @Gilmourisgod's museum picture post, and you did, indeed, nail it. So the interesting personal style choice would appear to be Eddie's. But that lead me to the next thought...

This is amazing! I love that you copied the oversized, wonky bridge pickup route. It would be tempting to cleanse some of the quirks from the EVH original.
