A watch thread?

Bruce Lindfield said:
I wear a watch made by "Skagen", a Danish company - I like the way it looks, but also the fact it is made of Titanium!
Skagens are cool. We have 'em here too. I've been hankering for one for some time.

Hard to justify, though, as my Fossil blue of seven years is still going strong and the Casio it replaced still works, although the battery's dead right now...

Edit: Dayum, Marshall, that is a good deal. No more hankering on my part.:D

Bulovas are nice.

Marshall

[Addition: Watch is back up to $70 today!]
NOOOOOOO!!!!!!:bawl:

I was just going to order it. I would've done it yesterday but Amazon.com doesn't ship to Canada, and it's not listed on Amazon.ca. I needed to get in touch with my dad to get his address, and it looks like it took me too long. Oh well...:(

My daily wear watch is a Citizen Eco-Drive that is powered by sunlight.

I have 3 breitlings. A gold and steel chronomat on leather; a steel Old Navitimer with a black face and white zones on black leather strap; and a quartz Jupiter Pilot that I bought in 1990 - I wish I had not bought that one because it's quartz.

I have a Tissot Le Locle automatic that is 2 years old. I have a few vintage Omega chronometers.

I have 2 Oris watches, a few Seikos, and a sickness for acquiring many more!:bassist:

I have 2 Movados, both leather bands which tend to be much less expensive than the metal banded ones. one is a gold one I got for christmas 8 or 9 years ago. The other is an Alia is two tone (stainless steel and black ceramic) that my wife gave to me as a wedding gift.
