A Yamaha bass from 1974

This simple, well manufactured and great sounding bass is from -74
but it doesn´t say anywhere what´s the model. I went through the
Japanese Yamaha Database but could not find it! But it definitely
looks like a bass version of SG35 or SG30 guitar.

Any ideas?

Wow....Sorry, I can't help with the ID, but just wanted to say that is a great looking bass. If it plays like it looks (clean, elegant and cool) then you have a fine instrument there. I'm really liking every old Yamaha I see since I joined this site. What is the general price range for those kind of basses, if you don't mind?

Yes this bass VERY good sounding, I´ve had the -76 fender p-bass for about ten year now and bought this one just for fun cause it costed only 350 euros! But I really find it ridiculous that these basses are so undervalued... so get them while you can.

and btw i just find a post from here sayin it should be a SB-35 but yamaha database doesn´t recognize that model at all?!
