About fender 2008 jazz basses

I've got an 2008 MIA Fender Jazz V and it's an outstanding bass guitar. The craftsmanship detail, sound, pups, tuners, electronics is superb. I even experimented around and changed out the pups for some Bartolini 57J1's and went back to the American Standards due to that they give so much deep low end. The bass is articulate, punchy, great for slapping and popping, and a passive tone is to die for. Check 'em out they are that nice.:smug:

I've tried som '08 fender a while ago here in a shop and I was quite surprised...
they're very well made and even the sound is great..

seems like they've realised that people expect from the company that stands behind the basiscs of el. guitar and basses world, quality, playbilty and great tone.

In my opinion fender reached this with the "new" line standard j and p basses... although I found, at least the ones that I've tried, that the P basses were a little bit better made.
