Unless the initial reviews are uniformly bad, or they don't preview it for critics at all, I will see this. Heck I'll probably see it regardless. A concept this high just can't possibly go bad. 
Hollywood has been morally bankrupt for quite awhile... now it appears they are creatively tapped-out as well.
True, there have been relatively few 'original' stories told in Hollywood for a long while now.
Thankfully there are still a few original directors & writers making an effort, but sourcing material such as books to make films has been going on since Hollywood's inception.

finally got this on DVD. Awesome.
I went into it thinking "this is gonna be so band, but I still want to see it" well it was a fun movie and I'd definitely buy it to watch many more times.

We saw it this weekend and I totally enjoyed it, the historical references worked in clever ways, action was great and the style of the movie added to the storytelling.
Never mind this movie, y'all should check out "Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies"

I really enjoyed this movie. When I heard of it, I made fun of it. There was a preview on HBO and it looked really good, so I bought it. One really cool thing about this movie is that it combines fictional horror and historical aspects. In my opinion, This is a great movie.
