Acme bass cab?

There are a number of threads on this brand that can offer more information that I can. That stated, they are voiced noticeably different than the other brands you mentioned in that they are voiced "flat". As a result, you'll notice more bass than your average cabinet and less midrange. The top end is smoother than many of the tweeters I've used. They are less efficient than the brands you listed, but the tradeoff is better low end. Solid cabinets.
My experience is with the 2x10 and I was able to compare it directly with Aguilar's S series. I've also owned SWR 15's and 12's and Bag End 15's, among others. It wasn't for me, but it was awesome at what it did. "Superior" is a relative term.

Just like they say, it sounds like a studio reference cab.
I set my Eden WT400 flat when I use the Acme 2x10.
When I use my Eden 2X10 XST I have to bump up the low end.

+1. Same bump when going from ACME to SWR Henry.
They ARE amazing and power-hungry.

Got mine yesterday. I'm working out some minor noise issues in my pre-amp (ART Tube Channel). That feeds into a Crown CA 9, then into the Low B2. It's pretty d*mn amazing for such a small cab, and exactly what I was looking for: Clean, transparent sound that goes very low. I'll get whatever sound I want from processing/pedals/preamps, but when I want clean, I want CLEAN.
These things put out what you put into them, good and bad. As many have said, it ain't for everybody, but if you want deep, clean, and accurate (understand that most don't) and don't mind pushing an a$$load of power to get it, this is your cab.

I have two B-4 cabs. Bought one new 10 years ago and eventually bought a second used one. Makes for one helluva 8 X 10. I pretty much leave the preamp flat and tweak the cab attenuators (treble & mid) to compensate for the venue.

You will see many fans of this brand on TB....myself included. I have a 4 ohm B - 1 and a 4 ohm B - 2.
I purchased the B 1 and used it on a few small gigs and was amazed at the quality of the sound coming from this small box. I then purchased a new B 2 and use that with an Eden WT 550 and my trusty P bass..... it sounds great for such a small cabinet.
They do have a two week trial period...
