Acoustic 804 speaker towers help

I was wondering if anyone can help me with identifying the ohm and power rating on some cabs I purchased. I found a guy selling two Acoustic 804 speaker towers on the local CL. They are from the 1970's and have two 12s three 8s and two horns each. No other info on the back except model number 804. They have the original speakers and although they way a ton, they sound awesome. He included a Peavey XR 800 mixer amp for $160, so how could I say no? I am just wondering if anyone knows anything about the speakers. What is the ohm rating or any other info? I cannot seem to find anything on line.

nice find, I found an old advertisement that says each cab is 4 ohms. On the Peavey head it says "This head is optimized for a 4-ohm load but has adequate performance to drive loads both above and below the recommended 4 ohm impedance." so it looks like for $160 I have a cool PA. Only 200 watts but a LOUD 200 watts. :hyper::hyper:

Typically..MOST...not all ...vintage Acoustic heads..power..PA will handle down to 2 ohms with no issues.

On that site, see 'dznr's ' posts, as he is the guy who DESIGNED the vintage ACC products.

Also there is an Acoustic Club here, on TB....but the REAL DEAL is the'unofficial' site.

'Unofficial' is used due to some proprietary issues. Not nearly as much traffic on that site as on T B generally,but not every TB-er is an 'Acoustician".

To me, it's a coin toss between Vintage Acoustic and Vintage Sunn...then there's all the rest.
