you guys have convinced me to keep my vintage bassman50, not get the rumble100 that was on the local cl for $200 and am now considering this:

just want a lightweight rig. to refresh your memories...i am not a gigging musician. just do living room jams with the buds. i want something cheap and small to fill the need. i have a 15 watt first act bass amp for when i play with just my one friend at his apartment complex. sounds just fine since we never get loud. the void i need to fill is when i go to another buddies house to jam, i can't bring my bassman, cuz even on two his wife is yelling at us, and besides i hate hauling that thing around. sometimes there are up to three guitars going at these living room jams - no drummer - everyone wants to be jimi i suppose. i haven't tried but i am afraid my little first act won't be able to keep up.

p.s. - don't laugh too hard at the first act bass amp, my squier jazz and my harmony h22 both sound fantastic through it. keep in mind that i when i play this little thing - it's for low volume practice - so of course it's gonna sound fine.

Not sure why you disqualified the Fender Rumble, it has a lot more clean headroom than the Acoustic B100. That being said, the B100 should be ok for what you need, but any mid-sized combo with a 12 inch speaker or larger would probably work as well.

But the key question is---what EXACTLY are your guitar players playing through. I used to have a Randall RG80 1x12 guitar combo that could easily overwhelm any bass cab smaller than a 4 x 10. Of course, I rarely played it that loud.

others in a previous thread discounted the rumble100 for me. there was one listed on my local cl for $200. it was regarded in that thread as entry level. i was actually looking to get rid of my bassman50 combo, but now have decided to keep it and look for a cheap travel/practice amp. i have a bassman50 2/15 that my guitarist friend could probably overwhelm with his reissue twin, but by that time, we'd both be deaf. this b100 seems to be of the same power wattage as the rumble100 but for half the price.

after posting this it seems the reviews on musicians friend spoke kindly off this amp. maybe i'll offer the guy less on his combo and see what he says.
