Acoustic B20 wiring diagram

HI, I need the schematic for the B20, my husband can fix it if I had this. The fuse keeps blowing, he checked all he could without a diagram. If we unplug the transformer the fuse doesn't blow so it must be something on the circuit board. Hate to throw amp away, but not worth sending in to repair.

Check your capacitors. The two larger ones on mine went bad. You can tell they're bad if they're bulging on top.

Very likely the output devices are toast. they'll need to be replaced. the outputs will be obvious unless they are an integrated power amp chip.

Can't believe I'm posting on a 6 year old thread, but here I go: I just opened my B20 up to find the exact same two caps bulging, so I'm changing them out. The problem is that I already tossed the fuse, thinking THAT was the problem. Would anyone happen to know what size fuse I need as a replacement? Thanks.

Bulging caps do not mean they failed. They are designed to bulge a bit if they get too warm.

If you know how to troubleshoot you can test the caps.

The chip amps these use are just cheap run of the mill chip amps that tend to overheat and blow.
