They bought rights to the name. Kind of like a Chinese auto dealership buying rights to name Rolls- Royce. It ain't the same, but they own rights to the brand.

Reagardless, I own vinatge ad G C Acoustic. Love them both.

Anyone who knows about vintage acoustic and Acoustic U S A loves George Grexa A K A "vetchking" also. His amp was still in development prior to relase, when G C introduced Acoustic Amplification. George had to get permission to use the word Acoustic, blue & black, etc. from GC/ Acoustic Ampilification and has no quarrel with G C, to my knowledge. Ask him, to be sure, but I believe my statement stands.

GC got the name brand and they can make whatever they want with it. However, in this case they did it right.

I own numerous old ACC amps and cabs as well as few "new ones".

Difference between MK1 and MK2 is in gain/volume area and MK@ has build in compressor. I think MK2 has superior options for shaping the sound of your instrument.

I always laugh when other players start talking about their "shiny" amps in all spectral colors and watts reaching million, and all of the beauty of headphone speakers of 10".... Than I turn on my amp and just leave them with tongue on the floor.

It is just great feeling to be old enough that you don't need to fit in social crowd and you just do your stuff without much of talking. BTW, I don't use any speakers that are less than 15". So, 450 is out of my touch. I don't want even to check it out. You might like it. It's upon to you to decide.

I love my b450, I was a little iffy about the 2x10's but they're more than plenty for what I do, I'm thinking about adding a cab to that eventually.
