Acoustic Basses for Girls?

Does anyone know of any decent acoustic basses for girls? I have an electric bass made for a girl but I want an acoustic one for acoustic shows. I only play four string if that is important to anyone.

what do you mean for girls? like short scale for small hands..or....pink...?

really just anything smaller. Like maybe one made for kids. Short scale would also be fine.

If you're looking for one with a smaller body, Hohner made (makes?) one that is 34" scale, but has a not so deep body and is cutaway.

The Fender Victor Bailey acoustic is a smaller package but still has great build quality and sounds good too!

I used to have a Fender BG-29 ABG. I know it was a shorter scale, 30 or 32 inch...can't remember exactly, and a slimline body. Would probably fit a girl pretty well.

Nice bass....it was the first "quality" ABG that I owned. Couldn't stand the "fret rattle". Sold it and bought a MK fretless ABG......

Check out Luna. They make "girl" basses with smaller bodies and lighter weight.

Electric bass and a portable/practice amp works better for acoustic gigs, IMO. Acoustic basses can't be heard more than 15 feet away by themselves, let alone with guitars.

Presumably the 'girl' angle would mean natural obstructions to playing i.e.: breasts? If so, maybe consider an Aria AMB model, these aren't so deep as full hollow bodies ABG's. Or, have you considered a hollow bodied bass as opposed to ABG? Godin is the obvious choice here, offering electric versatility with a more acoustic tone. The more expensive option to Godin would be a Rob Allen.

Morgan Monroe made a very cool bass, shaped like a F-style mandolin, with a 32" scale. Hard to find now, but I know there's a new one (with a hard case!) at Tom Baxer's in New Britain CT (860.827.1313) ... I was checking it out just yesterday.

Weight and size would be great for woman. But then, I know chicks who play Thunderbirds ...
