If you like the sound of the 15 best, then get one. Add another if you need louder.

An amp that size and 2-15's is enough rig to play anywhere. The next step up from that means putting the whole band in the PA.

Get either two identical 4x10s or, if you like what the 1x15 is bringing to the table, get a second.

DO NOT mix a 1x15 with a 4x10! The 1x15 will always be a weak link and be in danger of damage.

why shouldnt i mix the the 1x15 and the 4x10?
with the 1x15 would i be gettin around 400 watts?

Among other issues, each cab will recieve equal amounts of power from the amp. The 410 has 4 speakers to "soak it up", the 115 only has 1. It will run out of gas while the 410 will still have more to give. If the 15 is stacked on the bottom, you may not hear it crying and you run the risk of blowing it.

Don't worry about wattage so much, in the grand scheme of things, it isn't as important as advertisements make it out to be. It's just an easy sell to put big numbers on there.

Don't people mix 4x10's and 1x15's all the time? I think as long as he pays attention and doesn't drive the cabs too hard he should be fine right?

Only those that are not aware of issues like phasing, comb filtering, power distribution, etc..........

It used to be more common years ago when people bi-amped. However, with modern drivers 15's don't necessarily go lower then 10's anymore, and if you still bi-amp - you only need a good 6" mid driver to work with a 1X15 instead of hauling around a heavy 4X10.

I'm not exactly sure what is different about this 15" cabinet compared to the original, but there were times when I was able to overload two of the original cabinets with the B200H.

That 450W number on the cabinet is merely the point at which you will melt the thing. I would be very surprised to see those cabinets take a full 450W without overloading and farting out.

That being said, the B200H with 2 115's was a superb value when they first came out. I think I ended up with the whole thing for a little over $500 and it worked well as a practice amp. It was only as the night went on and the volumes increased that I started to hear it struggling.

Also keep in mind that Acoustic is Guitar Center's "house" brand so you should be able to get some good deals just walking into the store. NEVER pay full price for the house brands.

+1 115/410 pairing is outdated and an overall bad pairing.
+1 Acoustic is a cheap GC house brand. Decent "entry-level" gear, but not super sturdy.
+1 wattage ratings are misunderstood. Amps put out power, cabs handle that power. The ratings on the cab are all but meaningless, and wattage from amps does not equate to volume.
