Looking to get a new amp...main things I am looking at are the Coda combo, or simply a Coda head with either a Wizzy or a Raezers Edge speaker....is it worth getting the combo amp, or should I look to elsewhere?

What are your apprehensions about the combo? I haven't found anything not to like about the Coda+. The sound is fantastically uncolored, accurate and even. The whole package is really compact, light and portable and I don't see how pairing their head with someone else's cabinet could be a better solution. With their Mooradian bag and the bass on a stroller, everything arrives in one trip.
For most situations it's plenty loud, but when I'm playing the Czech-ease and the set is REALLY loud or outdoors, an extension speaker does come in handy which is another AI for me.
FWIW, I bought my Acoustic Image stuff from Bass Central in Florida.
I use an older Acoustic Image combo and I've never had a problem with it. It has its limitations, however. It's a one-trick-pony, but it does that one trick very well.
It's NOT a loud amp. It doesn't handle BG well at all. It's very light and the most portable amp I've ever owned.

The people that generally have complaints about it usually want to play BG on it or have a BG outlook on amplification, where the amp itself contributes to the the overall sound. If you want it to accurately reproduce the signal coming in and make it louder, it does a fantastic job at that. You've got to have a good sound coming out of the pickup and/or mic jack for AI's to sound good.
The problem is this: every pickup sounds different with every bass. You are just going to have to find the one that sounds good with your bass. However, I would start with the realist or the full circle.
