I hate to be the bearer of bad news (not to mention all the calls I'll have to make), but the combo cab availability is pushed out a bit further into the future...Dr. Rick tells me that the cabinet company was having molding issues; he wisely chose someone who would represent AI at the manufacturing facilities to ensure quality, and his guy threw up the red flag. They've changed molders and expect to have new samples flown to the US next week for their final approval. This means the cabs will probably reach the US in early Feb, whereupon combo assembly will begin.
Bummer. However, I continue to admire their commitment to excellence, as I'm sure having no combos to sell for these months has really hurt their bottom line.
It's nice to see another company run by musicians rather than accountants.
