:hmm: Sounds like a lot of blown AI's. Is this really so common? I have been seriously looking at the Ten2 but this makes me a little gunshy now. As much as I appreciate good customer service I think the best customer service is a working amp. I'm hoping this thread just attracted a larger number of people who have dealt with the customer service and that most people have had no problems.
Are these amps getting blown because of faulty wiring and construction or due to overuse/abuse? Also, is it mostly older amps that have had these issues? I would assume that any consistent problems would have been addressed in the newer amps. Does anyone have any reassurances to offer?

I have pushed these amps very hard for 10 years. I have had them in for service once or twice (I have owned probably 5 of them various models), real quick turnaround like Piro. Never got a bill, return shipping on AI. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. It is a great company that really stands behind the product and I don't believe they have a higher than usual failure rate...especially considering than most of the guys who use them seem to use them ALOT.

There is no product completely bullet proof. Everything given long or hard enough service breaks. I've worked my AI stuff hard for several years now and they are even with the most reliable amps I've used in the 3 decades I've been working.

If you like the sound of it there should be no hesitation based on reliability or customer service.
