Keep in mind that the amps are designed for more than just basses. I use mine for guitar (electric and acoustic), mandolin, and fiddle.

I have seen on the AI website that the Series III combos are actually being delivered, but rationed among dealers, as we speak. Has anyone gotten their monster cable into one yet?

Very few actually went out, they weren't able to engineer a large air shipment so only a few were available to dealers. I should have one here tomorrow to audition, I'm looking forward to it.

I thought prices stayed exactly the same in the new series.

Am I wrong to think the biggest difference between a Clarus 1 series II and III is that the latter has almost twice the power?
I suppose the series III is also more expensive?
