Acoustic Pickups

I have a Washburn AB 45 Ilove it,but the piezo/preamp system is lacking.Any ideas,suggestions? Thanks..

I don't know if there is enough difference between a cheap and top of the line piezo set up to make it worth changing out. Maybe try an EQ pedal to dial in a better sound from the stock preamp

I have a JJB 220 (passive, similar to K&K's pickup) in my Guild B50 and run it through a K&K Pure preamp. It sounds pretty good direct (no preamp) over a short distance, too.
