I've got one in that same natural-ash finish that I'll never get rid of... sounds great, plays great, unkillable despite coming to me already pretty beat-up. Had another black T-40 before that which didn't sound quite as good, but it was quite a beauty... eventually I sold it and kept the roadworn ash one. Great basses, if you've got the fortitude to carry one. During the year or so when I was playing one of these as my main bass, my shoulders bulked up to the point where my shirts started to fit a bit too snugly, haha. Since I got my Ric my buffness has receded a bit, alas.
