I asked this question over in the Spector thread,but i figured i would ask it here also.I always run my pickup blend knob in the middle. So essentially it is both full on. Can i wire all three pickups to one volume knob ? If so,what value pot would i have to use? The reason i would like to do this is because i would like to try a Darkglass tone capsule and i really don't like the looks of a stacked knob. Any info you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Can you run both sets of pickups with still using the blend knob to a single master volume? Absolutely. That's how my Charvel 4B is wired: master volume, bass and treble, with a blend knob where the three was toggle used to be. As to the pot value, I don't know, but somebody here will.

Obviously you can. Just run all the hots together to the input of the volume pot.

The value should be 25k, as usual for EMGs. Some people prefer 50k or 100k, for a little more openness, but your impedance will be pretty low with three pickups, and thus, you don't want to compromise your taper.

I want to eliminate the blend knob.There are only four hole on the bass.I will need one for the volume and the Darkglass tone capsule has three tone knobs (a hi mid,mid,and bass).

You could always use concentric pots if you need more pots than you have holes.

Yeah I know I could, but I would like to avoid concentric knobs if I could. I just don't like the looks of them.
