Active P-J wiring

I have this old samick 5er that used to be active, but the person who sold it to me converted it to passive so he didn't have to do battery changes any more.

This bass has

1 bridge volume

1 neck volume

1 tone with push pull

1 3 way selector


Anybody know how I would wire a battery to this, it is all wired up and perfectly functional, I just want it to be active again.

It's not as simple as adding a battery. Most likely, the preamp was bypassed, which means you need to put it back in the circuit.

Pics of the wiring would be useful.
