I saw a video of a violinist demoing one the other day and it piqued my interest.

Has anyone played one? Heard one in a live setting?

I only play low to moderate volume gigs on DB and my primary goal when amplifying is capturing the natural acoustic timbre while having my gear be as transparent as possible. Curious if this might be something worth investigating. My current setup is DPA -> Headway edb2 -> Jule m700 -> PJB C4 or Epifani UL

I've seen one (Allround 8?) used by a singer as a personal monitor in our big band. I had a feeling it is meant as a high quality tool for musicians who want to dial their sound quickly and with not much knowledge neccessary, with the added possibility to put another instrument in the same amp. Sort of a busking amp, but with clearer sound. The sound quality didn't strike me as wonderful, but I was standing out of its focus angle.

If you're looking for a lightweight amp the "One for Bass" weighs @30 lbs. That's on the heavier side for me. They're built in Italy. They remind me of the SR amps that were built for Schertler.

I did a concert with one last week. It sounded very nice. Maybe not $1699 nice unless you really need 3 channels.
