Hi Paul, now something even stranger is happening. In some topics the bug happens, in others not. Examples:

ad-block popup | TalkBass.com - NO

Jeff Berlin banned from TB? | Page 2 | TalkBass.com - YES

NBD James Johnston jazz | TalkBass.com - YES

Is walking bass the cat's pajamas for practically every style? | TalkBass.com - NO

If I refresh my browser the topic with popup's bug disappears and does not return to appear. My browser cache clears automatically when it is closed. I restart my browser and the issue stopped happening. Apparently everything is in order.

I am facing the same problem, both with Windows 8.1/Firefox and Ubuntu 14.10/Firefox. After I cleared the cache the bug message disappeared - I will report back if there is conflict again.

Edit: 3 minutes later, the bug message reappears...

You are using Adblock plus with Talkbass whitelisted?

Yes, reappears. Looks like a randon bug who affects only some specific topics. Today reappears only on this topic.

Report - I still see the popup on both my Win7 desktop and Macbook, but not consistently...maybe once out of 10 times/pages/stuff.

No apologies necessary. This is exactly the screenshot I need to show the developer. This issue on Firefox was supposedly fixed weeks ago. Thanks, I'll let you know when we can retest.

Sorry I just noticed... there are no ads on the page. Something is blocking ads on TalkBass still - are you running any other firefox add-ons? Disabling ABP for talkbass should make ads appear instantly....

I do get ads here. they're in the same spot that the nag-screen occupies...
