ADA MB-1. Effects loop or pre?

If I am using a Eden WT550 as my pre and power amp and want to use an ADA MB1 for effects should I run it though the effect loop on the Eden or plug my bass into the ADA and use the ADA output to go into the Eden?

You'll get a lot responses on this one... I think technically there is a right / wrong way... but did you try both to see which sounds better?

I haven't set it up yet. I guess I'll try out both. I just didn't want to mess anything up as this is my first try at building a proper rack.

Someone chime in on this? Can anyone provide an explanation of how to properly setup your signal path when you have various rack effects units to consider? I'll also be adding a Lexicon LXP 15.

Official way is : bass/guitar -> preamp -> power amp -> speakers.

So, that would be :

bass -> ADA MB-1 -> Eden (as power amp, so plug into FX return) -> speakers.

So I won't be using the Eden pre? I would like to as if I plug it into the FX return I believe I would lose the compressor.

Yes, I mis-read you. If you want to use the MB-1 for its effects, it should be in the FX loop of the Eden.
