Something Borderline Offensive
While their more recent work decreased in relevance for me, their classic albums were highly influential. Paul's Boutique is on the short list of my favorite albums ever. I was a kid when License to Ill was frightening parents, and in high school and college I delved deeper in their alternative experiments. They've been a part of my pretty much all my musical life, and I grew and developed as they grew and developed. I'm sad to have lost him.
RIP Had all there stuff. Brass Monkey was mine and my then girlfriends favorite song to "dance" to.

Super sad about passing of MCA. The Beasties were a huge influence on me musically, they showed a fine disregard for genre and simply made music with conviction, humor and groove.
He was however, in the 2007 Live Earth video of Spinal Tap- Big Bottom playing bass onstage with everyone else, adding to his list of epic accomplishments.
