Adaptor trouble

Hello,

I have like 5 pedals and alllll the time i forget them and leave them plugged in overnight, which costs me a fortune in batteries. However, it's kinda expensive going out and buying a 9v adaptor at 15 quid a time (plus theyre huge and dont always fit in the plug socket). Is there anyway I can buy a little extra add-on thing so i can use one adaptor to power all my pedals? O yeah, I dont wanna buy a pedalboard either cos theyre expensive.

What are your pedals?

I know BOSS has a neat system of one pedal powering a few more. I believe the TU-2 can power a few pedals.

Zoom 506II as a tuner

Thats it ...
O yeah by the way, I live in England and the AC power over here is 230v (or 240? ). Dunno if that changes anything...

Signal Flex makes a simple pedal power unit that will power 5 pedals and costs around $45 US. It can be modified for UK power.

You must be careful with it though, as you can get ground loop hum if you don't plug it into the exact same outlet as the rest of your rig, which isn't usually a problem so long as you are aware of it.

Dunlop also makes something that can power all of your pedals. I think it's called the Brick or something along those lines. There is also the Godlyke PA-9 Power All power supply. I think it can handle any A/C from 100-240 volts and can power all your pedals. Musiciansfriend has it.

I found a easy CHEAP fix to this problem myself. I bought a single 9v adapter for like 12 dollars and a signalflex daisy chain for like 10 dollar and can power 5 pedals off one power supply.

THe Ibanez DC-5 can be found in UK. It's a daisychain cable.

Ok, i found some thing on ebay - its basically a daisy chain thingy. But it has 3 days left :scowl: grrr ...

does anyone know an online shop or anything (in the uk, or that delivers to the uk) which has anything?

Maplin do a power supply called "Power bank" with 5 outputs for £19.99.

it works fine for my Boss pedals, but if i try to run a Zoom pedal with the Boss pedals there's hum, so i use its own adaptor for that.

Maplin have a daisy chaining cable for your existing adaptor.
