AdBlocker Popups

Sorry to take a hard stand, but the pop-ups have to go.....or I will.

I know that webmasters want to control our exact experience, but I'll execerise my right to control my own web experience.

If you are not willing to remove the pop-ups I'll understand....and will go join another bass related forum.

For now we'll go back to the text notice at the top of the page. You can dismiss the notice, but it will come back after 72 hours. You are of course free to exercise your right to control your web experience. But please consider doing what's "right and good" for TalkBass, a site you've been a member of for 11 years. If you simply pull down your AdBlocker menu and "disable adblocking for TalkBass.com", you'll just have one leaderboard banner and one footer banner on most pages (728x90 each)... is that way too obtrusive? There's not even a sidebar on any forum page except for the main forum list.

Alternatively, become a Supporting Member and you can use your adblocker without getting any alerts. Or, become a Gold supporting member and there will be no ads for you ever, even without the adblocker.
