I was just looking to get a little more coverage, but it does make sense that I would loose power with a passive monitor, it has to get powered from somewhere !!

Why can't he just get the B-410 cab and rewire it for 2Ω?

Does anyone know if the tradeoff is beneficial at all?
I mean, lower wattage but more speakers?
(Not for use as monitors,just more speakers for the Rig)
I have a B200, and I've been stumped by this since day one.
(Sounds good with the 115, but I dont wanna buy another 15 cab ,only to find out its exacly the same with 215s as it is with 115)
I keep seeing this debated(In theory), with no actual solid answers.

You're running in the wrong ditch there.
Passive isn't the problem - it's the acoustic or aural coupling that's the problem.
For these cabs to work well together - and there are technical geek-o rules here - you've got to keep them right next to each other or stacked.
I'm going to the site (again!) and seeing if the B-200H is parallel or series output.
Are we talking a combo B-200 or the head - B-200H?
I just looked and it's fer sure that the B-200 is series but B-200H is parallel.
The B-100 is like the B-200 in that series setup.
As long as your 200 Watt 12" monitor has a Line/preamp-level input you could simply use a guitar cord to plug this into your Acoustic combos Effects Send jack and skip using a mic.
Yes , actually they do so skip the external passive 4 ohm out and use the FX send from the B100 to the active 200 watt monitor ?
I find that I can go into the ACTIVE port and then just put another cord into the PASSIVE and send that to the next amp INPUT.
The ACTIVE and PASSIVE are two legs in the same line before the -15dB pad where it collects the split and goes into the preamp.
This is getting more complicated than Chinese algebra.

I ran a line from the B-100 FX send to the in on an active 200 watt pre amp controlled monitor and it seem to work just fine, no problems as of yet, so I might leave it like that and see what happens.. at least i got rid of the Mic situation ... thanks for all the input..
