Adding cash to PayPal

PayPal my cash. super easy way to add cash into PayPal.
Log in and PayPal can send a barcode right to your phone then use at CVS, RightAid, 7-11 etc.... puts the cash right in, easier than the money packs were!
Takes about 15 min for funds to show.
Money packs have been banned for terrorism reasons :-\ ,
I just discovered this today, sorry if it's old news.

They don't have the tap thing in New York? You can just tap your card here... it kind of defeats the whole PIN security thing but it's faster!

I'm sorry but IMO the cell phone bar code thing is the bane of civilized society. I can't tell you how many times some guy has held us up at the boarding gate because he's too cool to use a piece of paper.

Some do. Maybe more places than I think have it but I swipe my card by habit.

The only cell phone bar code thingy I use is the dunkin donuts gift card app, and only because it gets me discounts on coffee.

The same thing that causes someone to not have their cell phone bar code thing ready also causes someone to not have their paper ready. The problem isn't cell phone or paper. It's lack of consideration for other people.

The PayPal thing seems like a waste of time because you have the extra step of adding money to the account. I pay for everything with my debit card and the money's already there.

It's not a matter of readiness. It's a matter of the damn thing won't scan the phone. Happens a lot.

My concern is about the paper trail my wife sees.
I don't have to explain X amount of money from the bank account, or even more scary is having to explain where the money came from in the first place.
Purchased a bass today and was faced with the uncertainty of having to use a money order.

Oh, so it was all about hiding money transactions.
Well, I guess that's one way to do it.
Doesn't she suspect anything if you have a new bass?

I don't think she could tell them apart. Just don't bring more than 2 out at a time. The eub brought some heat, I ended up "borrowing" it for a year
