Adding/Deleting Strings On My Ibanez

I am thinking about getting rid of my Low B string and stringing it with the E as the lowest string and going on up from there. I want to add a string past the high C so I still have six strings to use. My main reason for doing this is that the Low B doesn't really excite me all that much, but I would still like to have six strings to play with. Is there a way to do this in terms of string gauges?

I've done something similar on my Ibanez five string. What I actually did was to string it up tuned in fifths: CGDAE. The C string is the same string as the B string was but all the others are lighter gauges. I don't play it much because I am just not loving five strings but I have not noticed any issues with the nut slot widths and the narrower strings. I too vote try it and see if you like it.
