adding distortion onto a amp!?!

You can overdrive it simply by turning it up louder than it can handle. So basically, just turn all the knobs to 10 and I guarantee it'll sound absolutely horrible. It may or not be an interesting sort of horrible. It's just a pocket amp so it's probably not ear shatteringly loud when turned up all the way.

hey,
i recently bought a portable amp thats like the size of a computer mouse, anyway it doesnt have gain or distortion. the person on ebay said i could easily distort it though, how do i do that?? thanks!

the seller's right, it's easy to add distortion to an amp... simply requires a 9V battery + cheap effects pedal + extra cable. problem solved. ;)
