Adding head to combo amp?

Apologies if this question has been posted already, I'm new here.
I have a Fender Rumble 150 (4 ohm) and I'm considering an upgrade.
Would it be advised to get a new setup all together or could I just get a separate compatible head and add it to my combo?
 
you can't really accomplish that without major and impractical mods to the combo amp.

grab an affordable speaker cabinet to use in conjunction with whatever head(s) you end up picking
 
Check the size of the opening. For a while I had an Ampeg B2R head in my Fender BXR3O0. All I had to do was add two wood blocks to accept the screws from the 19 inch rack mounts. The Rumble 150 looks like it could be the same
